PSCU Financial Services is a leading provider of traditional and online financial services to credit unions, currently representing more than 600 credit unions, making them the nation’s largest Credit Union Services Organization. With large Credit Unions as its customers, the provision of data, information and analytics is a key component of PSCU’s product lines. Several years after purchasing SAP BusinessObjects, SAS and Oracle DB solutions to meet the information demands of their users and customers, PSCU recognized their efforts for centralized BI were stalling. After creating a collaborative team of business owners and IT (BI) owners, PSCU sought out a BI partner to help consolidate and improve their distribution of information.

CCG was initially engaged by PSCU to lead the migration of their BI (BOE) and DW (BO Data Services and Oracle) environment to recent versions and new physical environments. Next, CCG’s team, engaged directly by the business, completed a process of developing an ETL solution, data model and supporting analytics to the Debit users and customers. This initiative, along with two smaller initiatives to include a membership rewards and consumer behavior for cross-sell pattern analysis, combined to become a company Enterprise Analytics initiative that CCG’s partnership has been critical for success.
